Why do we go?
Why do we go on missions? This week’s powerful message explores God’s clear call to spread the Gospel throughout the world. From Genesis to Revelation, we see that God is a sending God, commissioning His people to be a light to the nations. The Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20 isn’t just a suggestion; it’s our marching orders.
But why is this so crucial? Because the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. God isn’t looking for experts, but for worshippers who are willing to be used for His purpose. This message challenges us to examine our own hearts: Are we going? Are we supporting those who go? Or are we simply being disobedient?
In this message, Pastor Wes encourages us to overcome fear and lack of confidence and to remember that the power of the Holy Spirit goes with us. As we consider our role in God’s mission, let’s ask: Who is God calling us to reach? What is holding us back from having that gospel conversation?
